If you make or receive a verification fee or thank-you payment, our payment provider, Stripe, collects your payment details directly — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or was refunded, never your card information. We also collect anonymised usage data to improve our platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to facilitate item exchanges, connect you with other community members, improve our services, and send occasional updates with your consent. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your information. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
4. Your Rights

6. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with a small number of trusted providers to run Munara: Stripe processes payments (verification fees and thank-you payments) and never shares your full card details with us; Zoho Mail delivers transactional emails; Cloudflare Turnstile helps us block automated abuse on our forms; and, only if you consent via our cookie banner, Google Analytics helps us understand anonymised usage patterns. Each provider only receives the data it needs to perform its specific function.
