Creating Your Account

Step 1: Sign Up

1. Download the Munara app or visit our website
2. Click "Sign Up"
3. Enter your email or use Google OAuth
4. Create a secure password
5. Verify your email address

Step 2: Complete Your Profile

• Add your name
• Upload a profile photo (optional)
• Add your location (city/neighborhood)
• Set your preferred language (EN/PT)

Step 3: Read Community Guidelines

We ask all users to agree to our community guidelines:

• Be respectful and honest
• Respond to messages within 24 hours
• Keep transactions safe
• Report inappropriate behavior

Donating Items

Before You Start

Ensure your item is:

• Clean and in working condition
• Complete with all parts
• Safe for someone else to use

Creating a Donation

1. Click the "+" button
2. Select "Donate Item"
3. Choose the category
4. Upload clear photos (minimum 3)
5. Write an honest description
6. Set condition and any notes
7. Add pickup location
8. Submit listing

• Mention any assembly required

Claiming Items

• Category (Furniture, Electronics, Clothing, etc.)
• Location (near you or anywhere)
• Date posted (newest first)

Making a Claim

1. Find an item you need
2. Click "I Want This"
3. Wait for donor to confirm
4. Coordinate pickup time
5. Confirm receipt after pickup

Best Practices

• Be honest about your ability to pick up
• Communicate promptly
• Show up on time
• Confirm receipt in the app

• Meet in safe, public locations when possible
